We wish to appoint an experienced administrator to manage various awards within the Registry’s Student Financial Support (SFS) team. You will be responsible for managing the award process from the point of application through to the payment being made to the student, including the audit requirements associated with Imperial’s awards. This role reports to the SFS Scholarships Team Leader and the primary aim of this role is to provide a world class service to applicants and students.
With previous experience at a similar level, you will have excellent experience of working independently and using your own initiative whilst managing your own workload. You will have a strong emphasis on holistic processes as well as working as part of a larger team, providing help and assistance when required.
You will have first rate written and oral communication skills and be proactive and confident when dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. In addition you will have meticulous and highly developed administration skills leading to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and be able to demonstrate experience of working within a regulated and audited environment. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of managing large volumes of data and you will have experience of implementing process improvements, creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets to an advanced level and experience of using databases to store manipulate and retrieve information.
