The Centre for Primary Care and Public Health (CPCPH ) is a Centre of international excellence and relevance, drawing on the strengths and diversity within our unique setting in East London to deliver a programme of high quality research, education and development aimed at improving health and primary health care.
The Women’s Health Unit (WHRU), a rapidly growing unit within CPCPH, runs a portfolio of research in women’s health including multi-centre clinical trials and systematic reviews. It is also part of the newly formed Barts Research Centre for Women’s Health (BARC).
The Unit was recently awarded a Programme of work by Barts Charity, consisting of four projects (three pilot RCTs and one full-scale RCT). We are seeking a Statistician for this programme.
The post holder will be supervised by the BARC’s Senior Lecturer in statistics.
The post is full time and fixed term to August 2021, with an expected start date of April 2018. Starting salary will be £36,677 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
