The Early Years Initial Teacher Training Programme (EYITT) at the UCL Institute of Education prepares specialist graduates to teach throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS, 0-5yrs). Students complete three modules, during the 1-year programme, and successful graduates are awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).
Throughout the programme, students develop their understanding of EYFS practice and demonstrate their teaching competence against the Early Years Teachers’ Standards. Our students are supported to become reflective teachers and are, subsequently, highly valued by the sector.

The role will also entail liaising with setting-based mentors and completing programme documentation. The post will require travel to EYFS settings across Greater London.
