The Senior Student Immigration Compliance Officer will work closely with the Student Immigration Advice and Compliance Manager to coordinate the numerous activities undertaken in relation to UKVI processes and procedures for all student immigration categories. They will also work closely with colleagues across the university to develop, implement and review processes aimed at ensuring full compliance with UCL’s Tier 4 sponsor duties and eligibility to retain Tier 4 Sponsor status.
Applications are invited from candidates with experience of implementing UKVI regulations for student immigration categories together with knowledge and understanding of UK Visas and Immigration policy affecting international students and educational institutions. The postholder is expected to have excellent organisational skills, an analytical approach to evaluating process and policies and meticulous attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with a tactful and diplomatic approach to communication and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required.
Please note: This role does not meet the eligibility requirements for a tier 2 certificate of sponsorship under UK Visa and Immigration legislation. Therefore UCL will not be able to sponsor individuals who require right to work in the UK to carry out this role.
