We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant with an entomology and/or clinical trial background to join our expanding and dynamic scientific team.

The Arthropod Control Product Test Centre, arctec, is a division of Chariot Innovations Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

arctec is a world-leading independent centre for consultancy and the evaluation and development of arthropod control technologies. In state-of the-art laboratories in London and specialised field sites around the world, we run laboratory studies and clinical trials on products including head lice treatments, insect repellents and after bite treatments, as well as WHO testing of insecticides and bed nets.

Our knowledgeable scientific team and extensive portfolio of clients has led us to be one of the market leaders in the evaluation of arthropod pest control products for industry. We pride ourselves on our unique in-house expertise and high quality scientific standards

There is an exciting new opportunity to join our expanding scientific team as a ‘Research Assistant”. The post holder will need a science degree or equivalent work experience, excellent written and oral communication skills and a high degree of personal motivation.

The post is full-time and permanent. The position is available with an immediate start and the salary is £23,000 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting.
