The School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences has been awarded £12.1 million from the Wellcome Trust and EPSRC to create a new Centre for Medical Engineering. We are seeking an experienced Molecular Imaging Scientist to support the Centre’s research activities. We are looking for someone with a range of biomolecule and cell labelling, radiochemistry, and preclinical biological evaluation skills. This role will encompass varied responsibilities, including work on a wide range of collaborative projects. Generally, the Molecular Imaging Scientist will perform preclinical research in radiopharmaceutics, especially radiolabelled biomolecules. The post holder will also be required to provide leadership, training, assistance and advice to other workers and collaborators. This includes working with scientists in fields such as cell based therapies, regenerative medicine, and drug delivery. Overall, we are looking for someone to maximise dissemination of our innovations to benefit the research community within the Centre, within KCL, externally, and ultimately patients.
The selection process will include a panel interview.
