The appointment will be on UCL Grade CL7. The salary range will be £34,594 – £37,726 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
We wish to recruit a highly motivated Clinical Research Associate who will be based within the Centre for Obesity Research led by Professor Rachel Batterham. The successful applicant for this exciting post will be team player with previous experience of undertaking obesity research. The successful applicant will work as part of a team undertaking clinical trials funded by the Sir Jules Thorn Charitable Trust and the National Institute of Health Research with a focus upon maximising the health benefits obtained from bariatric surgery. The post-holders will be appointed to honorary contract with University College London Hospitals and will be expected to undertake a higher degree (MD or PhD). There are no clinical service on-call commitments. Full support will be provided for research and career development. This post is funded for 3 years in the first instance.
Applicants should hold full GMC registration, a higher speciality training number in Endocrinology and Diabetes. A Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and MRCP/MRCS or equivalent are essential.
