The focus of this Assistant Learning Resources Manager role is the operational day-to-day management of staff, space, and service across all three Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon (CCW) sites.
As Assistant Learning Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing staff development provision for CCW Library Services staff and manage the staff development budget. You will work closely in collaboration with the Learning Resources Manager and the other Assistant Learning Resources Manager, and cover in their absence.
You will manage the weekend service across CCW, including staff management, training and development, meeting with weekend managers as required. Your remit includes membership of designated Library Services Groups; you will also be part of College life and represent Library Services at various College committees.
The role is full time and includes the requirement to occasionally work until 8pm during term time and until 6.15pm once a week in vacation periods.

You must have either: a degree in Library and Information Science (or equivalent); or a degree in any subject plus a postgraduate qualification in Library and Information Science, (or equivalent). Demonstrable experience of working in an HE library, and of managing a team is also essential.
