As an Application Support Team Leader you will manage a team of analyst developers with responsibility for the support and development of key services.
You will provide specialist technical leadership for projects and service software in software development, installation and configuration with knowledge transfer to the support team and analysing and designing applications through to development as well as dealing with complex or critical queries in addition to supervising the support team. Part of this role is also involved in recruitment, managing staff, key performance indicators, defining service level agreements and performance reviews.
It is essential that you have advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle stages, development, testing and release using methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile and how they are used to aid project delivery. Your experience and knowledge in developing software applications will be advanced and having the ability to communicate clearly to all audiences, sharing knowledge and skills within the team, staff supervision and developing productive working relationships are essential criteria for this role.
