The appointment will be on UCL Grade 6. The salary range will be £28,574 – £33,487 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Applications are invited for the post of Administrative Assistant (Teaching & Learning) to facilitate the smooth running of the teaching activities in the Division of Infection and Immunity.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Teaching Director, Programme Leads, Module Leads and Teaching Manager to ensure the effective and efficient administration of the Division’s programmes.
The post holder will provide administrative support in all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and programme records.
The post holder will also be responsible for administrating the Division’s compliance with Tier 4 legislation and student engagement monitoring policies for undergraduate and postgraduate (taught) students, ensuring that activities undertaken in relation to UKVI processes and procedures for all student immigration categories are followed.
Applicants should be educated to A level standard (including A-C in 2 subjects) or have equivalent relevant experience and have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
They should have excellent administrative skills, a proactive approach and experience of working in an administrative capacity in the Higher Education Sector. The post holder must be efficient, organised and take great care in attention to detail. In addition, the post requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL thus a professional attitude, willingness to help and a positive outlook are required.
