We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join Academic Services within the Directorate of Governance Legal Academic and Student Services.
You will provide high level administrative support across the Department supporting the work of its five distinct Teams and acting as Office Manager. In addition you will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Deputy Director (Academic and Student Services) and the Assistant Director (Academic Services).
The responsibilities of the role will include providing support to and minute taking at meetings and committees the co-ordination of budgeting and resource administration assisting with personnel matters managing the responses to Departmental FOI requests and maintaining the Academic Services website.
To be successful in this role you will need excellent administrative organisational and communication skills as well as an awareness and understanding of the issues in Higher Education. You will work collaboratively and sensitively with students and colleagues across the University and will be expected to work effectively and flexibly.
