Job offer in Ireland Teaching Fellow in School of Physics (Temporary, 3 Year Post) at University College Dublin
The School of Physics seeks to appoint a temporary Teaching Fellow primarily assigned to the undergraduate teaching laboratories (Stages 2, 3 and 4). The successful candidate may also be expected to make a contribution to undergraduate tutorial delivery and assessment. The duration of the appointment is three years, beginning on 1st October 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate, in consultation with staff, will devise, develop and support a broad range of appropriate undergraduate experiments, and assist in the day-to-day running of the laboratories. A proven track record in experimental work is essential. The Teaching Fellow will enhance the academic activity carried out by other colleagues in the School and will work collaboratively with them in the delivery of the undergraduate practical programme.
Appointment will be made on the above range and in accordance with the Department of Finance guideline.
