Job offer in Ireland Research Fellow at Queen’s University Belfast

The post is available from 1 October 2017 until 30 April 2019, to assist on a BBSRC funded Global Challenges Research Fund Grant “Household biomass ash as a fertiliser to sustainability improve soil nutrition to enhance rice yield”, to be conducted in collaboration with the Bangladesh Agricultural University.

The post will be based in Queen’s University Belfast and is to be involved in the field sampling and to conduct the molecular work, bioinformatics and statistical analysis of Illumina sequencing data (RNAseq, Amplicon sequencing). This involves integration of data collected from the field trials, such as rice plant performance data, into the overall statistical analysis.
