The postholder will support research and development to enhance current tools and protocols with particular focus on key aspects, namely: an end-to-end IoT management framework to help mitigate complex vulnerabilities; situation assessment through IoT; trusting IoT for automated decision support; novel cryptographic solutions for IoT; future IoT security technologies and ultra-resilent 5G communications.
This position is fixed term for three years, with prospect of further extension.
This post is initially based at the Jordanstown campus.

This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund’s Investment for Growth and Jobs Northern Ireland 2014 – 2020.
