to £28,936 per annum

The post will entail the establishment and analysis of the dataset for this age group from all paediatric and transitional diabetes clinics in NI. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently to establish and subsequently interrogate the database with a view of preparing papers for publication in international peer reviewed journals. This post is available until 28 February 2019 and will be based within the Centre and will involve undertaking both desk-based statistical analyses and meeting clinicians and potentially patients as well. There is likely to be some travelling involved to relevant clinical sites.

The successful candidate must have:
- Completed or about to complete relevant undergraduate education.
- Relevant experience in ophthalmic or other research.
- Experience in interrogating clinical episodes.
- Experience of management of databases/spreadsheets and statistical packages e.g. SPSS.
- Excellent IT skills e.g. Microsoft Office suite.
