Job offer in Ireland Lecturer Below the Bar, Druid Theatre Artist-in-Residence (Type A) at National University of Ireland, Galway
Applications are invited for a fixed-term appointment as Lecturer Below the Bar, Druid Theatre Artist-in-Residence at NUI Galway.
Overview of post
Under the terms of the partnership between NUI Galway and Druid, the university wishes to invite applications for a ‘Druid Theatre Artist-in-Residence,’ who will participate in the development of drama, theatre and performance at NUI Galway. The successful candidate will be a professional theatre artist, working in any of the following fields: acting, direction, playwriting, and/or producing. Candidates should have a university qualification in a relevant area.
The post is half-time (0.5 FTE) and runs for the entire calendar year (January-December inclusive). The successful candidate will need to be present at NUI Galway for 2.5 days per week during the teaching semester and at other times during the year as appropriate.

Salary: €37,979 to €58,944 pro rata, p.a. (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2019)
(This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Fixed Term scale in line with current Government pay policy)
