Reporting to the Head of Spinouts, this newly created post will assist QUBIS and the Commercialisation team achieve their strategic goals by actively building and managing a network of entrepreneurs, angel investors, deal makers, Non-Executive Directors and venture investors.

You will contribute to the strategic priorities for the University, particularly in relation to the expansion and diversification of its income base. This will be through increased commericialisation of its intellectual property and it is commercially relevant capabilities.

You will have the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally and will connect with the Entrepreneurial community, building a pipeline of contacts to assist with spin-out team formation.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Honours degree or equivalent in any subject.
  • Proven relevant experience in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of successfully developing and managing networks, partnerships and alliances, of individuals and entities particularly within business, universities, research institutions, and government departments or agencies.

Salary scale: £40,792 to £50,132 per annum
