Position Summary:

Business Ethics is a core component of our mission and plays a particularly important role in our teaching portfolio and in the development of research and social innovation and engagement.

The School intends to hire research-active academics who at Assistant Professor level will have a minimum of one publication ranked by the Chartered Association of Business School (ABS) at least a 3 Star level. Applicants with publications in the FT list of preferred management research journals are particularly welcome.

We are seeking to hire a professor who is motivated and passionate about their teaching and ultimately its impact on the careers of students, managers, organisations and society. While Trinity has an internationally competitive workload model which includes generous time for research, it is fair to say that we are not looking for a professor whose career aspiration is to only focus on research to the point of seeking to disengage from teaching and students. Instead, we want to hire a professor who through teaching excellence will secure high course evaluation ratings and who will want to play an active role in developing leading education programmes and experiences for students and executives/entrepreneurs.

The ideal candidate(s) for the post(s) will have a relevant PhD, high quality research publications and will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research and administration, consistent with the demands of modern business education. Beyond this criteria, industry expertise and/or a professional qualification will be an advantage.

Candidates should have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
