Job offer in england Systems Support Officer (Postgraduate Admissions) at University of Bristol
The University of Bristol are looking to recruit a Systems Support Officer for their Postgraduate Admissions division.
This is an exciting time for postgraduate admissions at the University. We have embarked on a programme of centralisation for postgraduate admissions and are also implementing a new student lifecycle support programme which will include a new postgraduate application system; both of which will deliver benefits to the efficiency of postgraduate admissions handling. The role-holder will play a significant role in both. We are looking for someone to help manage our current postgraduate admissions system (ApplyYourself).
You will work alongside a part-time colleague undertaking the same role and you will provide excellent customer service to potential applicants as well as support, training and guidance to admissions-related staff within the university.
Working to tight deadlines with a complex system, you’ll have excellent planning and co-ordination skills and enjoy interacting with the public as well as a wide variety of staff members within the university.
You will be using your own judgement to respond to issues and solve problems on a daily basis, so confidence is really important. A commitment to continuous improvement and process review is a must.
This is a full-time, open-ended position.
For informal inquiries please contact: Amy Butterworth, Deputy Head of Admissions (Data and Systems) email: Amy.Butterworth@bristol.ac.uk
