An excellent opportunity has been created for a Student Retention & Success Manager to join our Student and Academic Services Division on a permanent basis.
This senior post will be responsible for the management and coordination of a programme of work to better support student success, wellbeing and retention. Leading Student Success Teams across the University’s three academic Colleges the post holder will work with colleagues across the institution to better integrate existing provision to: (1) aid the transition and progression of new and returning students; (2) support student wellbeing; and (3) have a measurable impact on the engagement and skills development of student groups at risk of unemployment and under-employment.
As the successful candidate, you will join us with an Honours Degree (or equivalent experience), experience of translating strategy into operational delivery and outcomes and knowledge of the importance of student retention and other challenges facing universities.
It is important that you have an understanding of factors affecting students and the importance of an excellent student experience. This role requires an individual who can communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in writing and is confident in their ability to influence others and develop positive relationships with relevant stakeholders.
