Summary:

The Careers Service sits within the Student Services Department. It offers a wide range of support to students in all years of study and graduates up to three years after completing their studies, as well as early career researchers. The Careers Service’s objectives are to work collaboratively across the University to support all students in building an awareness of their skills and attributes to allow them to define and achieve personal career success.

The Student Jobshop, operated by the Careers Service, is expanding to offer a comprehensive internal agency style service to all departments across the University – from recruitment and selection, to payment processing. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed candidate to join our team to help implement the effective running of our new service. Ideally having experience of working in a recruitment/HR environment, with excellent customer service and data processing skills, candidates should enjoy working both independently and as part of a small team.

This is a full time post, available to start immediately, and fixed term until 31 December 2018. Secondments will be considered for internal candidates who have sought prior agreement from their line manager.
