Offering the chance to work across both graduate scholarships and US and Canadian student loans, this varied role supports Oxford’s aim to recruit academically outstanding graduate students regardless of their personal financial circumstances.

You will be responsible for a number of graduate scholarships and awards, initially including the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies Scholarships, the Pirie Reid Scholarships, the Research Council UK-college partnership awards and the Air Force Institute of Technology scheme. In managing the scholarship schemes, you will be required to work flexibly and liaise with academic and administrative colleagues to carry out the recruitment, selection and payment of scholars.

The other part of the role will see you working as part of a small team to manage the US and Canadian student loan process. This includes providing information and advice, processing loan applications and the disbursements of funds, while ensuring that the University’s loan processes comply with US Government regulations. 

Well organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team, you must also possess strong numeracy and IT skills and the ability to understand and work with complex regulations.
