Summary:

This Research Assistant position will provide support to an on-going project investigating the timing and scaling of limb development. The successful applicant will contribute to day-to-day running of the lab and also develop his or her own independent research project. It is expected that the applicant has previous expertise in some of the following skills: molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, RNA in situ hybridisation. Experience in embryology and genetic manipulation of embryos is desirable. You will report directly to the Principal Investigator, Dr Matthew Towers.

You will have a good honours degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant biological or biomedical Science subject and experience of working in a research laboratory on a defined project.

This position is available immediately for a period of 12 months.
