This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the University of Oxford’s newest departments: The Blavatnik School of Government (BSG). This project offers the opportunity to be involved in the very early and formative stages of the Building Integrity Program. Currently in an 18 month pilot phase, the Program’s ultimate aim is to establish a permanent multi-disciplinary institution within the School focused on researching and promoting integrity within public institutions.

The Building Integrity Program is looking for either one research assistant to work full-time for 12 weeks, or two research assistants to work part-time for 12 weeks. The primary responsibility will be to produce a multi-disciplinary literature review. This review will establish the current state of research on integrity and its promotion within public and private organisations.

The post holder(s) will be expected to engage with material from disciplines such as political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, law, history, public management, public administration, psychology, and/or business organisation and management studies.

The successful post holder will hold a first degree, together with some relevant experience; be working toward a doctorate in a relevant discipline; and have the ability to manage their own research and administrative activities.
