We are looking for an experienced Outreach Manager with excellent people management skills and a strong track record in leading widening participation programmes to join our growing team. This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
Leading on our new University of Exeter Scholars programme, the postholder will work with academic colleagues to create educational programmes designed to raise aspirations and pupil attainment, develop skills and confidence, and encourage progression into higher education.
The successful candidate will manage a team of College-based widening participation staff delivering discipline-related activities as part of the Scholars Programme and to meet College outreach and widening participation objectives. You will require excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills and will work to build effective relationships with College management teams, schools and external partners. With strong organisation skills, you will coordinate and evaluate a range of activities involving multiple teams across the University portfolio. Creative with a can-do attitude, you will have considerable experience of implementing and evaluating successful widening participation activities with a range of age groups.
