Applicants are invited to apply for this post based at the Ann Craft Trust, a registered national charity committed to the safeguarding of disabled children and adults at risk from abuse.

With a focus on developing the Ann Craft Trust’s profile, training and event bookings and awareness of safeguarding in the UK, the role covers a wide range of areas including content creation on multiple platforms, marketing planning and events. The Marketing Officer will have responsibility for researching, planning and implementing the Trust’s marketing and fundraising strategy.

You will have a range of marketing and communication skills with knowledge and experience of a range of digital marketing disciplines including website management, email marketing, social media marketing, SEO and Google AdWords. It is important for you to be a team player and to work closely with the safeguarding experts within the team to effectively communicate their message.

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for raising the charity’s profile, for marketing its services across the United Kingdom and to promote key campaigns such as the National Safeguarding Adults Week.

Candidates should have good communication and organisational skills and experience of working with disabled children and adults at risk and knowledge of abuse and safeguarding issues is preferable.

The position is offered on a Permanent, Part-time contract (22 hours per week).
