The Department of Economics is one of five Departments within the Nottingham Business School (NBS). Currently we provide:

(a) undergraduate degree programmes in Economics/ Economics with Business/ Economics with International Finance and Banking/ Economics with International Trade and Development/ Business Management and Economics;

(b) taught MSc programmes in Economics and Finance/International Finance;

(c) postgraduate supervision leading towards MPhil and PhD awards;

(d) an input into non-specialist programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across the NBS.

We are looking to recruit a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer who can not only teach economics effectively at the undergraduate and postgraduate level but also contribute proactively to the Department’s research profile. Applications are sought from candidates to fill a post whose remit is to contribute to the teaching of macroeconomics and macroeconomics/finance. 

You should have a PhD (or be close to completion), experience of teaching economics and a demonstrable engagement in academic research, preferably with peer reviewed journal outputs.
