We are seeking an enthusiastic NMC or HCPC registered clinician, who is committed to education, to join our friendly and innovative Continuing Professional Development (CPD) team in the Institute of Health, which is part of the Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing at the Walsall Campus of the University of Wolverhampton.
The role involves coordinating and delivering our current curriculum for the interprofessional Mentorship modules based on the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s Standards for Learning and Assessment in Practice (SLAiP), and contributing to the new developments at postgraduate level. You will also contribute to a range of CPD health courses and modules in your area of expertise.
We would welcome your application if you are an experienced clinician with recent experience of supporting student clinicians in practice. You will have a relevant degree or have professional-equivalent background and training, and be committed to education. You will have evidence of active continuing professional development and be interested in extending your professional career and research profile in an academic setting.
Secondments may be considered. Salary on either the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer grades is dependent on existing qualifications and experience.
An enhanced DBS check will be required.
