Research in Practice (RiP) is a network supporting evidence informed practice in child and family services. Established in 1996, our aim is to support the development of knowledgeable, confident practitioners and thereby contribute to positive outcomes for children and families.

We are looking for an individual to join our Sheffield based team and contribute to the development of a growing area of our business. You will share our passion for developing and delivering learning activities to the highest quality standards to build practice knowledge and skills in the fast moving world of child and family services.


The role will include:

Coordinating the planning and delivery of learning events and activities

Overseeing the work of associates on these programmes

Providing client account management for a number of member organisations in the RiP network

Providing input to tender applications and funding bids

In due course, taking lead responsibility for one or more topic areas on the RiP Delivery Programme.


The successful candidate will:

Share our passion for building and delivering learning activities of the highest quality

Have great ideas about developing materials to support organisational learning and individual professional development

Be willing to work flexibly in a role which combines office based activities with some travel and overnight stays

Be able to manage time and multiple projects effectively and administer your own work to agreed timescales and quality standards

Provide excellent and confident customer service
