Dorothy House Hospice Care is seeking an inspirational Head of Education, Learning and Research. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to and track record of excellence in research and education along with the intellectual and leadership capabilities to develop and implement the Hospices strategy.
This may be your first role within a hospice / end of life environment yet you will have proven leadership and management skills and an impressive reputation based on an extensive track record of influence and innovative education and research to complement and enhance the Hospices areas of expertise. Above all you will develop a regional, national and international reputation for Dorothy House as a centre of excellence.
So if you are creative, dynamic and inspirational this will be an exciting new challenge and opportunity for you. Working with a talented and motivated team the ‘Head of Education’ will set the strategic direction for learning, research and vitally enterprise to market the Hospices range of educational initiatives and accessing educational, research and practice development grants. Approachable and visible, you will be required to provide decisive leadership across these areas in a period of change for Hospice and the wider sector as a whole developing the service as a beacon for the provision of high quality, renowned palliative and end of life care education.
