We are seeking a Finance Clerk to support the Finance Office with daily functions within the areas of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Cash Office. The main focus of this role is to work with the Purchase Ledger for the College. 

The Finance Clerk will be required to process and administer monthly GPC statements on the system, raise orders on the College’s Finance system and ensure all purchases are in line with College procedures and ensure all Purchase Ledger invoices are scanned on the system on a daily basis. Assisting the Management Accounts Team to create and post month end journals, the Finance Clerk will also manage the College’s stationery contract and be the first point of contact for this supplier. 

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of online purchase order systems, reconciling procurement cards and computerised accounts systems. Previous experience of working within a busy finance environment and cash handling experience are essential.
