The International Academy, based in Priorslee, Telford is seeking to appoint a Finance Administrator to assist the International Academy and International students with day-to-day financial administration requirements, who will provide support and advice to staff and students on International Academy finance and who will contribute to the day-to-day administration of the International Academy in liaison with University Finance Department.
You will undertake and maintain the International Academy’s timetabling across all classes and courses, supporting the managing and monitoring of budgets, processing Visiting Lecturer contracts and claims, undertake financial processes ensuring that all documentation is prepared to required standards, on time and in full compliance with University regulations and support colleagues with completion of the correct paperwork.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of dealing with students from a range of cultural backgrounds, with an understanding and respect for cultural diversity and use University finance systems effectively.
Other tasks will include the preparation of reports, maintenance of accurate and up to date records including the International Academy’s Asset Register. In addition, the role may also consist of the preparation of client contracts and agreements, the invigilation of the Wolverhampton English Proficiency Exam and the collating of Risk Assessments and other projects as required by the Principal.
