This post is full-time and fixed term for 4 years with the possibility of on-going funding.
Applications are invited from individuals with an established appreciation and understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurial issues, to join a well-established and professional team in the Careers, Employability and Enterprise Centre, which operates from sites in both Durham and Stockton.
The aim of the enterprise remit within the Careers Centre is to enhance student learning focused on extracurricular enterprise activity and entrepreneurship education. The post holder will develop and oversee initiatives which develop both enterprise skills development and enterprise business start-up support activities in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
A key role for the post will be the development of a programme of workshops, events and activities for undergraduate students in support of enterprise activity and entrepreneurial skills development. The post holder will work closely with the student-led enterprise societies. The post will also be responsible for engaging with the wider student community and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in support of the development of enterprise provision and activity.
The post holder will work in partnership with the Postgraduate Enterprise Co-ordinator.
The post will include occasional evening and weekend duties.
