The University of Bath is proud to be one of the UK’s leading universities, with an international reputation for the quality of our research and teaching.
We aim to grow our reputation as an international leader in graduate education and as part of achieving this aim are establishing a Doctoral College, which will open in August 2017 based in the new 10 West Building. The Doctoral College will pool our considerable collective expertise and resource into a specialist hub, which will support a high quality experience for each of our ever increasing number of doctoral students.
Most positions in the new structure have been filled by talented staff who are already experienced in supporting our doctoral community across the University. We are now looking for positive and able staff to join them in the remaining positions and be a part of this new and exciting development.

The post holder will play a key role in the development of the Doctoral College website to support the promotion of the Bath Doctoral proposition, recruitment, community building and improving the profile of doctoral research internally and externally. They will also focus on improving support and communications for students on professional doctorates and other part-time students who are particularly reliant on the quality of the virtual doctoral environment.
This developing and rewarding role requires excellent communication skills and expertise in developing communications plans and distinctive content that fully utilise the digital environment.
