This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the country’s most successful higher education fundraising team, and contribute to its current campaign – the largest and most ambitious in Europe, which has a goal of £3bn.
We are looking for a highly versatile and motivated team player to join the Bodleian Libraries Development team in this key administration role. Flexible, adaptable and able to respond to changing priorities, you will provide vital administrative support to the Bodleian’s Development team. Your role will also encompass tasks such as drafting correspondence and arranging mailings, database entry and creating reports, helping arrange events, taking minutes at meetings, helping with travel arrangements, processing gifts and ad hoc projects.
Strong administrative and systems skills, attention to detail and an ability to multi-task and manage a varied workload are pivotal to the success of this role. You will have proven administrative work experience and be used to working with a number of stakeholders: for this role this will include a wide range of internal colleagues from finance to curatorial staff, supporters and volunteers of the University and the general public. With excellent communication skills, a flair for organisation and capable of acting on your own initiative you will play a key role in a busy team. Experience of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is vital.
