The purpose of this role is to provide first line IT support for desktop computing and technical services by responding to support calls logged on the service desk, as well as face to face queries, questions and IT emergencies brought up by staff, students and visitors to the School. The role is predominantly first line support therefore the role holder will have broad technical skills and will be involved in all aspects of IT support services. The role holder will also be required to work unsocial hours including occasional evenings and weekends. 

Educated to preferably degree level with a strong customer service ethos, you will have recognised industry qualification and good knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems. In addition, you will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. The ability to communicate effectively, efficiently and courteously at all levels and practical experience of working in a fast-paced IT support role are a pre-requisite for this role.  You should have excellent customer service skills and broad experience and understanding of modern IT infrastructure.
