Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow in Dermatology based in the Institute of Cellular Medicine within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, to undertake research in the area of inflammatory skin disease and stratified medicine.
You will be part of the Stratified Medicine and Biomarkers Research Theme, and also be appointed as an Honorary Consultant Dermatologist at the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Newcastle Dermatology is one of the leading units in the UK in terms of provision of clinical services, research, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students and training of specialist registrars.
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to attract independent funding and have a strong track record in translational research. You will join a multidisciplinary and highly collaborative research environment.
This position provides excellent opportunities to develop towards academic independence.
The post is available fixed term for two years.
