This new full-time post is available from January 2018 on a fixed term basis until 31 July 2019.

The role
Under the direction and guidance of the Operational Manager the post holder will provide a broad range of administrative support to several Post Graduate Research programmes. This will include support for student administrative processes, assisting with the management of all course work submissions and returns, maintaining filing systems, answering the telephone, responding to email and other general duties. The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of academic and support staff as well as have contact with postgraduate students.

About you
This busy and varied role would suit someone who has experience in administrative support and who would enjoy working in a demanding, dynamic and challenging environment. Applicants must have excellent interpersonal, administrative and communication (both written and verbal) skills. You must be reliable and well organised, be able to manage competing demands, maintain confidentiality at all times, and be able to work as part of a team. Excellent IT skills and computer literacy are essential.
