The School of Engineering are looking to recruit an Academic Processes Officer to lead on the production of the School timetable, provide support with, and administer the calculation of the workload for academic staff, manage and administer the examination mark process for the School and support the allocation and monitoring of lab demonstrators.

This is a new role to the School and the post holder will be required to have clear oversight of process driven functions that support teaching in the School, regularly reviewing, updating and documenting processes.

The successful candidate will have strong data management and analytical skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Knowledge and understanding of the higher education sector is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and positively with both staff and students. Knowledge of SITS student record system and experience of timetabling in a secondary or higher education setting would be an advantage.
