The Learning and Teaching Enhancement team within Student and Academic Services is seeking to appoint an Academic Frameworks Development Manager. You will lead on a number of exciting initiatives which will focus primarily on the enhancement of institutional policy and processes relating to academic standards, quality and the student experience. 

You will have excellent organisational and influencing skills as well as the ability to unify distinct stakeholders around specific objectives. You will have experience of managing projects and a proven track record of implementing and delivering change. Using specialist knowledge you will contribute to and where appropriate, manage University wide projects.

You will be responsible for carrying out the assessment and analysis of data and feedback relating to the University’s regulatory and policy frameworks, using it to enhance the student experience and support the implementation of enhancement initiatives. You will be required to draft reports and communications and prepare and deliver briefings, presentations and training.

We are looking for an individual who is flexible and innovative, with a keen interest in enhancement and the ability to challenge conventional thinking. The role will be varied and you will work collaboratively with staff in the professional services, faculties and the Students’ Union.

The role will be based at Frenchay Campus, but may require travel between campuses.

You will have:

  • First degree or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of a commitment to a professional development.
