We are looking to recruit an Academic and Operations Administrator for our Loughton Campus.
Duties of the Role
The Academic and Operations Administrator will be responsible for providing high quality professional support services to academic staff, working in accordance with the Department’s services delivery model, and its principles, values and behaviours.
You will be expected to demonstrate a wide range of knowledge and expertise and will provide appropriate and helpful information, advice to students and staff. You will also be expected to take responsibility for specific initiatives or projects, to provide administration services in relation to courses, modules, assessment and student records, and support the work of the professional services team and academic staff as a whole.
The post-holder will contribute to effective communication and engagement within a culture of strong partnership working with academic staff. The role will also contribute to a culture of excellence in service delivery, sharing of best practice and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications required
The successful candidate will be educated to A Level standard or hold an equivalent professional qualification and will have administrative experience in a challenging and varied role, along with demonstrable experience of using Microsoft packages at a high level.
Experience of accurate data entry, an understanding of Higher Education and excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this post. You will also have high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
