We are looking to recruit a Scheduling Services Manager to manage a small team of high performers, within the central Examinations and Timetable Services Office, based on the City Campus.
Reporting to the Examinations and Timetabling Services Manager, primarily you will be responsible for all the activities required for the delivery of academic teaching and assessment timetables. You will provide strategic guidance and impact analysis to senior leaders and key stakeholder groups regarding proposed capital works programmes and major changes to academic delivery. The University has a huge forward capital works programme in excess of $1bn over the next 10 years, which will bring about increased space across the University.
Ideally this role will suit candidates who enjoy the challenge of problem solving and working with data to plan, lead and provide operational management in creating academic timetables across the University. Preference will be given to individuals who have worked within tertiary and/or large multifaceted environments where you have had experience leading teams and are looking to step up into a management role.
Through exhibiting leadership through people management and direction, you will earn your credibility stripes with your team and a diverse group of stakeholders. With highly developed written and verbal communication skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels across the organisation you will be seen as a credible and influential Manager. Self-motivation and the ability to problem-solve and think strategically are essential.
