About the Position
The appointee will be an outstanding academic whose work focusses on the impact of technological change and disruption on firms and their competitive strategies. For example, you might explore the strategic options for firms and/or industries as a result of technological change and innovation or strategic innovation and change at firm and/or industry level driven by technological change and disruption.

This Research Capacity Building Professorial role is critical to intensifying QUT Business School’s research strength and depth around technology and particularly its impact on strategy. Attached to the School of Management, this Professor will lead and mentor others to strengthen the School’s research performance. The appointee will have an international profile, high quality publications and competitive grant successes from a program of research in the area. They will have the capability to foster a culture of research-led teaching and learning excellence and desire to engage purposefully with stakeholders to help solve strategic problems.
